As a tribute to the manga series DNA2 written by Masakazu Katsura from Japan, the first beta version was launched in February 2002 on Newgrounds.com as Sim Girl. It was later renamed to Simgirls when more playable female characters were added.

How to install?
- Extract to desired location.
- Open “Simgirls GOLD 7.0.swf” with Flash Player or a browser with flash to start playing.

- Intel HD 2000 or equivalent Graphics.
- 18.8 MB of free disk space (Recommended to have twice as much free disk space than this).
