On a farm in the countryside, there lived a cowgirl named Mei and her little cowbrother O-kun.
The farm owed money to a lender named Cattleya. When they couldn’t pay,
Cattleya took the deed of ownership… keeping the farm and O-kun as interest!
Without a home and her family gone… Mei was all alone.
She began to travel…. She would get the money needed to buy back her brother’s freedom.
