Pagan Absent Gods — is a cooperative Action RPG set in an ancient Slavic setting, where a hardworking peasant has one monster from the world of the dead. Over time, the monsters finally became insolent, and eight ambiguous characters endowed with magical powers came out to fight them. Taking blades and boomerangs in their hands, calling for the help of the forces of the elements and putting curses on opponents, our friends are ready to go through a big story campaign and conquer difficult trials.
The gameplay Pagan Absent Gods of the novelty is traditional for the genre and offers a standard top view and uncomplicated control of four keyboard keys and a mouse. The most interesting thing is in the battles with hordes of monsters, in which the characters use all their skills. Player movement here is almost lightning fast, and any area with opponents is immediately attacked by additional skills. But if the magic manna suddenly ends, players will have to rely only on their skills and straight arms.
The gameplay is based on passive and active characteristics of game characters that determine the style of the game. There are eight heroes to choose from with eight combat skills, and all of them are not even close to each other. For example, the Crossbowman here not only shoots, but can also bind his essence with an ally or activate his own clone, and the vampire Anya not only punishes the foe with a whip, but also summons a huge bat to help.
It makes sense to use the existing skills competently not only in the storyline campaign for 40+ hours, but also in additional missions that can be activated at the globe in your own Pantyon. Several difficulties can be selected here, and each mission will have a specific victory condition. After a successful battle, players will receive a set of cards from which potions or resources can drop to create or improve weapons in the Forge. The collected loot can be exchanged at the merchant, for example, for health potions.
