Fun for the shipbuff / simulator enthusiast. Physics needs improvement, many aspects of the ships dynamics are missing such as stern swingout after hard over rudder maneuvers that would normally require a rudder command to the opposite direction to eliminate & ships seem to answer the helm/rudder too quickly.

Would like to be able to disconnect and reconnect tugs if required – cast off my tugs too early during one maneuver and was forced to try to swing the ship around using only differential thrust and what little authority the rudder had when recalling a tug would have made life far easier.

Being a veteran of Ship Simulator 2008 when my PC was on Windows XP, it is very refreshing to finally have a bug free maritime platform. One doesn’t have to read all the negative reviews that Ship Simulator Extreme has accumulated, to realize that it has been chronically bugged for way too long.

Now comes to the rescue Ship Handling Simulator. My operating system is on good old Windows 7/64 on my backup PC, and SHS runs perfectly. No crash on desk top, smooth FPS, and really nice graphics. Must point out that everything is unlocked from the very start, all ships and missions are available. Definite applause’s and standing ovations to that brilliant initiative.
