You’ll recruit special classes such as Mages, Spitters, Barbarians, Necromancers, and Brutes. Each class has its own unique abilities and strengths, and it’s up to you to figure out the best way to use them in battle. The key to a swift victory is finding the winning combination to defeat the map’s unique enemies and mini-bosses. One of the best parts of Goblins is the ability to call for precise artillery strikes that can cause maximum destruction to your enemies. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch as your enemies are blown to smithereens by a cannon or burnt to a crisp by a fire wall.

The game features cell-shaded campaign maps that will take you through a variety of different environments and challenges. From mustard forests to grassy plains, each map has its own unique challenges (and sometimes mini-bosses) to overcome. Once you’ve completed the campaign, you can continue your progress in freeplay and sandbox game modes, allowing you to continue your battles and explore the game’s world even further.
