My biggest tip to anyone who buys this game is to persevere until you at least unlock the mines skill. The main problem early on is that you will get surrounded by enemies and it will be difficult to parry everyone. I recommend using a controller over keyboard too. Once you unlock mines you can run away from mobs while dropping mines. You can cheese the first boss with this strat and unlock the immobolise skill. Once you have the immobilise skill then it’s a lot easier to deal with enemies.

Another big tip is to use ghost form to sneak up behind enemies and then attack them. The ranged combat needs improvement. There’s no reticule and you can’t really control where you are aiming. It’s just based on where you are facing. It’s worse in ghost form because enemies aren’t highlighted for where your ranged attack might hit so you are shooting blind.
