Great style and music, a ton of charm, and a smartly and tightly designed castle. My only complaint is that the controls are a little wonky, especially when close to ladders–thankfully it’s not a fast-paced action game, it rather has a 90s PC platformer feel, so it’s not that bad. The game also didn’t recognise my controller (DualSense worked in neither native/Steam/DS4Windows mode), but Joy2Key fixed that, so I’ll give it a pass. Those issues weren’t so bad that they really soured the experience, I was having good fun nonetheless.

Certainly a unique, memorable, fun experience and totally worth the low asking price. An amazing little Metroidvania. I beat the game in around 4~5 hours. I could have done it before, but I wanted to explore the castle the maximum I could. There are lots of secret passages and potential sequence breaks. Being not a long game, it adds replayability/speedrun value
