Souls of Chronos has taken me by surprise as I was shocked at how in depth the characters and story go for an indie game, sometimes it feels one is missing the other but for this JRPG, I’m fully invested in the people around the main two characters. The game starts with you, Sid almost getting killed when your friend, Torii comes and saves your life, you find out at this point that she has powers like stopping time and the game

kicks off from this point. The story is very dialogue heavy with no voice acting which I don’t mind but I know some people aren’t a fan. So far, I have completed chapter 1 which took around 2 and a half hours, and I am still really enjoying the game, the next chapter has taken me to a new land so things feel fresh and the enemies are different which makes me want to continue!

I have bumped into a few bugs but nothing that has broken the game, it’s more dialogue being repeated twice or a visual bug that appears, but other than that, game is running fantastic Souls of Chronos is a game I would recommend if you like JRPGS and a great story 🙂 It’s more like a Visual Novel + Little bit of fighting here and there. The music is good , pictures are even better. The plot is nothing extraordinary but it works well

After playing for the first hour, I’m currently in the middle of Charpter 1. A lot of characters suddenly show up and they are fun to learn about, which somehow reminds me of Kiseki games. Few bugs are there like most of indie games, but not critical.Addtionally, for me,playing with controller feels better.
