After graduating from school, Marina Morishita begins working as an office clerk at a small construction company.
Around the same time, a part-timer named Shou Tsutsujimori—a younger boy just starting out—joins the company at the lowest level, and the two gradually grow close.
As Marina listens to Shou’s insecurities about his lack of confidence, her compassion turns into affection, and before long, the two enter a romantic relationship.
